Introduction

These instructions have been produced by Stansted BIP Ltd, as a guide to Handling Agents, Airlines, Forwarders and Cargo Agents who have consignments of POAO requiring inspection and clearance through the BIP.
For further information on the various aspects of clearing POAO, enquiries should be directed to the appropriate organisation.
A flow chart of the procedures described in this publication is shown in Appendix A.
